Hi I'm Eric

Im a wildland firefighter, Im a missionary, Im a Mormon.

About Me

Im Eric, I grew up in a small town in central Utah with 1 older sister and spent most of my time outside doing whatever. Im a wildland fire fighter and love it. Im serving a mission in San Diego right now and its the best! I love fishing or anything in the mountains and I love sports football is my favorite i could play or watch it all day. Thats pretty much me, pretty simple.

Why I am a Mormon

Im mormon because of the blessings that have come to me by living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I was raised in the church but never really knew for myself that it was true until i actually started to read from the Book of Mormon and started to really try to follow the Savior. I now know that this church is true, that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet. Most Importantly I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and He is aware of our needs and through Him we can return to live with our Father in Heaven. Knowing this brings more peace than anything else in the world and has changed my life forever. So in short that is why im mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to spend time serving others as often as possible, right now im serving as a missionary in San Diego, California.

Who was Joseph Smith?

In Mathew chapter 16 the keys of the kingdom of heaven are given to Peter from Christ. After the death, resurrection and accension of the Savior, Peter then the chief apostle led the church of Jesus Christ in those days. After the death of Peter and the rest of the apostles those keys to the kingdom of heaven or priesthood keys were lost from the earth for a time. After hundreds of years our Father in Heaven reached out in love and called another prophet and restored those keys once again to a living man. This chosen prophet was Joseph Smith, Through the Prophet Joseph the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ was restored once again to the earth and the same basic organization of the ancient church was brought back to these modern days with all the same authority, miracles and blessings that existed in the ancient church. Joseph Smith was an instrument in the Lords hand's and a Prophet of God, he called to teach and testify of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

We believe Jesus Christ is the literal Son of God and our Savior and Redemeer. He is our advocate with the Father and it is through Him and His merits that we can be changed for the better. It is by living His Gospel we can be forgiven of our sins and return to live in the presence of God. We have no greater friend than our Lord Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
