Hi I'm Marc

I enjoy traveling, golfing, running, and baking. I like teaching the gospel. I love breakfast for dinner. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I am an LDS missionary serving in the Nebraska, Omaha mission. I was born and raised in Ogden, UT. My ancestors are immigrants from the Netherlands and my heritage is something I'm proud of. I have two wonderful loving parents who support me, an older sister and brother, and a Great Dane for a nephew. I enjoy golfing and running my guts out. I love to bake but I'm not a very big eater. On the mish I always rock the floral tie. Before my mission I attended Weber State University where I did my general studies. I plan on returning to school after my mission at the University of Utah to study Education.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been an active Mormon my whole life and have loved growing up in the church. For a long time I never really new if the church is true but just enjoyed the social aspects of the church such as young mens, scouting, sports, home teaching, ward parties, and just associating with the other people on Sundays. I relied heavily on the testimonies of my Mom and Dad and just did what I was told. But there came a point in my teenage years when a friend bore testimony to me of the truthfulness of the gospel and I felt something. That feeling led me to a desire to want to know the truth and after years of having the teachings of the church pounded into my brain, I decided to act and to read The Book of Mormon. When I finished the book I went to my Heavenly Father in prayer and asked him if it was true. There is not a doubt in my mind my question was answered and I know that this is Christ's church once again on the earth today. I know that through the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ we can return to our Father in Heaven and live with our families forever.

How I live my faith

I have devoted 2 years of my life to serve a full time mission in the Nebraska, Omaha Mission. I love the people, the flatness, and everything but the cold. Everyday I do my best to be obediant, work hard, and tell the Father's story. If you will give it a listen it can bring you a lot of hapiness.
