Hi I'm Chad

I grew up in southeast Idaho. I currently serve in the military and I am Mormon.

About Me

Hello everybody, I am a father of a beautiful baby girl! I love my wife and I always wants what's best for my family. I currently serve in the United States Military and I am far from home, both for the wife and I. We are surviving the hot, humid summers in the south of the United States. I love to arm wrestle and I have participated in these sporting events around the nation. I also hunt and fish and love the great outdoors. Wife and I try to go camping but because life is always pulling in different directions, we don't get out as often as we would like.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Because I know this gospel to be the word of God and I have seen the windows of heaven open as I have obeyed the words given to me from prophets past and present. I have even received the revelation necessary to know with out a doubt that God lives and Jesus is the Christ. I grew up in Idaho were most of the people I knew were Mormon and had the same belief I did. So to me it was simple to keep the commandments, though sometimes temptation was very strong. Today people tell me I lived a sheltered life. I served a full time mission to Oklahoma and later served in various callings throughout the church that strengthened my faith in Christ. As I look back over the past ten years of my life from when I was entering high school till know as I serve my country in the military, I have seen the hand of God in my life and I know he leads his children down the correct path they are supposed to take even though life might be rough. You just suck it up and deal with it, and then you thank God through prayer. Once again I know God lives and we are made in his image.

How I live my faith

I have served my fellow Christians through many church callings from helping teach children, to substitute to lead music, and I now serve the brethren of the church by encouraging them to visit assigned members to them for the perfecting of the saints. Being in the military I have served others by being on the base honor guard to render military honors to those who have passed. God bless all those who have served and lived faith filled lives.
