Hi I'm Brenda

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read; it is a passion of mine. Photography is one of my favorite things to do, although I shoot pictures of just family members. I love my family and would do anything for them! I am not married and have no children, but adore my nieces and nephews! For employment and because I love it, I teach math and health at the high school level.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the most important aspect of my life. I often think how my life would be without it, but I soon dismiss that thought because it is startling. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ because it fulfills my life. It gives me direction and guidance, fills me with peace, joy, love, and harmony. I feel of God's love every time I go to church, every time I make a choice to follow His teachings, every time I read the scriptures. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true gospel of Christ on the earth today. I know that Joseph Smith restored this gospel as directed by Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that if I live by His commandments, I can live with him again. I know that families can and are eternal. I am forever grateful for my knowledge of and membership in this church.

How I live my faith

My faith in this church is important to be, therefore I live it everyday: in the way I talk, act, teach, and interact. Serving is a large part of this church, and because of this service, it brings joy and peace in my life. By serving others, we become more like our Father in Heaven and our Savior Jesus Christ. Trying to become more like Jesus Christ is how I try to live my faith: followings His teachings, keeping the commandments, being obedient, giving service, being kind to everyone, and showing my love towards others.
