Hi I'm Elizabeth

I am a wife and a mother of five wonderful, homeschooled children. I love to sing, scrapbook, read, and garden. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to a husband who LOVES to go to school. Together, we have rebuilt vehicles, rennovated homes and completed degrees. I have a teaching degree in early childhood education, with a blended certificate for working with children with special needs. Currently, I am using my teaching degree to homeschool our five wonderful children. I love to sing, scrapbook, read and garden. I love to work with children and currently write a parenting blog. When my children are grown, I will work with children in the community; using my experiences and education to help children learn and develop.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ brings peace to my soul and joy to my home. I have found peace knowing that I am a daughter of God and that I have a purpose here, on earth. I know that Christ lives and that he loves us. He will lead and guide us through our journey, here on earth, as we strive to live his teachings. I am grateful for the scriptures in my life. The Book of Mormon and the Bible teach us how to follow Christ. The words in these books guide my actions everyday, and help me to recognize the hand of God in my life. I am a Mormon; and I love it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith as I teach my children how to follow Jesus Christ. I also teach an adult class at our church where we study the scriptures, weekly. I visit a few sisters in our church and offer to help them with any needs they may have. I pray each day to find ways to help others, of any faith, and hope to bring joy to everyone I meet.
