Hi I'm Elder Carroll

I am from Tucson Arizona were I prepared to serve a full time mission in Toronto Canada speaking Mandarin Chinese.

About Me

I have three younger siblings and I love to be outdoors. Just about every summer I go camping with my Dad and my brother. I love hiking, backpacking, rock climbing and fresh mountain air. I have a interest in all kinds of music; I think music is a wonderful way of self-expression. I listen often when I am not outside. I have a passion for Ultimate Frisbee and learning new languages. I have spent the last few years learning Chinese (mandarin). I love to try new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I believe that through the atonement of Jesus Christ, we may all live with our families again. I have seen a light in the gospel and in the Church that has become an irreplaceable part of my life. Whenever I am discouraged or facing trials, my faith provides me with the comfort and the stability that I need to overcome anything going on in my life.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith every day by being a hardworking diligent and trustworthy friend. I participate in church activities and love to help other people learn and grow in any capacity, whether that is in school or in the gospel I try to be the first one there to offer them the help and support that I have found through my own experiences and the light which the Gospel of Jesus Christ has given me. I try to promote an easy-going personality and to be truly accepting of everyone just like Jesus Christ was when he was here on the Earth. While I am far from perfect, I think that this is probably the best way that I live my faith every single day, just trying to be a normal, outgoing and hardworking but happy person.
