Hi I'm Mary

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I'm Mary! I love being outdoors and getting lost in nature. I'm a wife to an American soldier. I enjoy running for physical exercise. I like traveling to new places with different cultures and food. I'm a college student and I'm studying to be a marine biologist!

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a Mormon because I know the Book of Mormon and all it's teachings are true. That Jesus Christ is the head of this organization and our prophets and leaders works shows forth the evidence. I acquire a deeper and clearer understanding of myself, my purpose, and the world around me. Growing up with few people around that shared my beliefs, I constantly compared and analyzed peoples lifestyle with the gospel and without the true gospel. I know that this is the only way to achieve the ultimate blessings here on earth. I believe that through obedience to the commandments and striving to be more Christ like, one will receive their best case scenario of anything pertaining to this life and after. I'm a Mormon because I know this is the true church of Christ and his love and guidance can be felt here the strongest and clearest.

How I live my faith

I live my faith the best way I know. I try, and that's all that counts. I try by nourishing my faith through following the commandments & gospel. When I make a mistake, I partake in the gift and blessing of the atonement that helps lead me back to repentance and washes away my sins so that I may be able to feel good again which I have the opportunity to do each Sunday in sacrament. Other ways I try to nourish my faith are attending weekly church meetings, such as, Sunday school, and relief society; an organization meant for the sisters in the church so that we can bond with each other through the love we have in our Savior Jesus Christ. I support my husband and encourage each other to be better, go to service activities, teach a class of 7 year olds in primary about basic principles and bible stories and occasionally go to the temple to do sacred ordinances. I also visit teach once a week, where I visit fellow women in relief society to help them with spiritual or any other needs. And when I'm not in a spiritual setting, I try the best I can to be a representative of my Lord Jesus Christ.
