Hi I'm Bailey Loveless

I love life and I'm a Mormon, which I hope doesn't surprise you!

About Me

My name is Bailey. I attended BYU-Hawaii for three years studying Theatre, English, and International Peacebuilding. I am the oldest of six kids and I love my family very much. My brothers and sisters are my best friends. I love to sing and dance. I acclaim myself to be an aspiring young actress. I've been a part of theatre essentially my whole life and it's a huge part of who I am. I love music and am always on the hunt for new artists. I grew up in Washington state but I can't give you a specific city because we moved a lot due to my dad having a hard time holding a job. I've done humanitarian work in Lithuania and love doing service-oriented work, which probably explains why I am currently serving a proselyting mission for the LDS church in Moscow, Russia. I've chosen to serve for 18 months abroad in the Russian language because not only do I love the people of Russia, but I also love the gospel and my Savior, Jesus Christ; I know that God loves all of His children and wants them to be eternally happy, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints contains the gospel of Christ, which is in fact, a gospel of joy.

Why I am a Mormon

I know this is the true church of the Lord, and it's something I could never deny. Even though my parents raised me in the Church, I can say that I received my own testimony as I moved away from home. I can see the difference between when I've lived my life in accordance with the gospel and when I haven't. I went through a period of time where I wasn't making the right decisions and went into some very dark places. I was lost. But through repentance and living the gospel, I was redeemed and light was brought back into my life. I am eternally grateful to my Father in Heaven and to the Savior, Jesus Christ, for that. The gospel offers a beautiful message of hope, change, and eternal improvement. I know now that wherever I go in life that if I continue to live this gospel that I will be blessed and able to overcome any difficulties I face with the help of my Heavenly Father. I believe with all my heart. This gospel, the true gospel, makes me the best person I can possibly be if I seize that opportunity through living its principles. I know this for myself and it is my desire to spread that knowledge and light to others.

How I live my faith

I think love and charity are some of the key components of this Gospel. We are told to love all men as Christ loves all men. It is a challenge to always love others, but everyone is my Brother and Sister and a Child of God and I always strive to treat them accordingly through service. Each day, I pray to see the people around me as Christ sees them. I think remembering that everyone is a child of God and stopping to think about what really matters is one of the most important things we can do in this life as people and as disciples of Christ.
