Hi I'm Saydi Ostler

I ran my own business in high school. I write books. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm a student a BYU-Hawaii, and I'm studying English Education. I have a passion for literature and writing. My sister first inspired me to write, and I hope that through my future career as a teacher, I too can spread my love for the English language. I love traveling, which is a part of why I am here in Hawaii. Family has always been of great importance to me, and even more since I have been away from them. I have five brothers, a sister, and two loving parents. Together we are the Ostler clan and I cannot imagine my life without them. Growing up and leaving my family behind has been scary, but with my faith and trust in the Lord, I know all things are possible.

Why I am a Mormon

The easy answer to "Why I'm a Mormon," is: I was born in the church, but there is so much more to it than that. I am Mormon because I have come to know for myself that the gospel is true. I wake up each morning on this beautiful island and marvel that such a place exist. How can there not be a plan for us? How can this life be the end? I went through a time where I questioned the church, but through my own personal study and prayer I have received a witness that I cannot deny.

How I live my faith

Living the faith each day is hard, but so worth it. For me, living the faith is doing the little things. The gospel pushes me to be the best that I can, and I try to emulate the Savior in my daily life. Though sometime I slip, I know I can always get back on the path, for the Lord's hand is continually stretched out to me. With the Lord on my side, how can anything be impossible?
