Hi I'm Austin

I love fishing, hiking, camping... and sunsets. My Momma loves me. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a wonderful family of 6 kids, with amazing parents that always made sure we were involved in lots of activities. I developed a strong love for sports at a very young age, and have played just about all of them. As I grew up, school became just as important as my athletic pursuits and I found that I love to learn. Along with school and sports, I absolutely love spending time with my family. They mean everything to me. We love taking trips together and spending as much time as we can hiking, camping, fishing, or biking in the mountains of Utah. During my Junior year of High School, my childhood dream was fulfilled when I was offered a scholarship to play football for Brigham Young University - where not only my football dreams, but my academic dreams could be fulfilled as well. After attending two great semesters at BYU, I decided to put my studies and football aside and serve a voluntary, two year mission for the Lord. I am currently serving as a missionary in Montreal, Canada.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my Savior. I know that He lives, and I know that this is His Church, restored on the earth again. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and that I can pray to Him, and He listens. He has answered my prayers, and I know that this is the path that he wants for me, and all of His children.

How I live my faith

Growing up in the Church, I have learned what joy comes from serving others. The Church has allowed me to serve in positions where I have been able to use my talents in whatever way I can to help others have a better life. Whether that is visiting the sick, doing yard work for the elderly, or organizing activities for youth, I have found the best way to live my faith, and live a Christ-like life, is through serving others. But living my faith means a lot more than just doing acts that others see. Living the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a way of life that affects every aspect of my life; including how I think and talk. I simply try to be the best person that I can be, by making the choice, everyday, to follow Jesus Christ and live in such a way that He would be proud.
