Hi I'm Lanae

I grew up in Washington. I have 4 beautiful Children. I love homeschooling, gardening and creating things. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time stay at home mom to five beautiful children. I love to create things. It is what makes life wonderful to me. Being a mother is most rewarding as I create an atmosphere in which my family can grow. I enjoy learning new things and watching my children discover new things. I think that is why I love homeschooling so much. There is nothing like snuggling on the couch with children and books all around me and a pile of knitting in my lap! Of course life is extra sweet with my better half always creating memories of laughter with us. He specializes in sharing happiness. My children each contribute to our family in their own way with talents unique to them. We work hard together, play harder together and are grateful to our Heavenly Father for every moment given to us.

Why I am a Mormon

Belonging to this church has helped me understand that God has a plan for me. I can return to live with Him again someday, along with my husband and children. We can be together forever! And that is a worthy goal worth working toward. It gives me hope and a reason to be happy for the future. Not just the future in this life, but in the life to come. I have a saying on my wall that reads "Anything that is worth fighting for takes time, love and sacrifice. It is not always easy to do what is right, but it is worth it. The prize of being with my loved ones and with my Father in Heaven and Savior Jesus Christ is worth every moment of this life. I feel so grateful to be part of a Church that receives modern revelation. I know that not only does Heavenly Father have a plan for me, but for all of His children. He loves every person and provided a way for us, His children, to return to live with Him again. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to be the kind of person my Savior would want me to be. I worship daily as I ponder what He would have me do and then I try to do it!
