Hi I'm Camilla

I've grown up in Plainfield, Indiana. I am in love with marching band. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a senior in high school. I love marching band with all my heart. I play clarinet. I plan to go to Purdue for college but that could change. I joined the church February 18th, 2012.

Why I am a Mormon

I've chosen to be a Mormon because I feel as though the church makes sense. I always feel welcome and at home when I am at church. The lifestyle I now live has made me a better person. A week before my baptism, a boy in my church was having his confirmation and I felt the spirit telling me I was making the right choice in becoming LDS. It was a powerful experience.

How I live my faith

The way I live my faith is through scripture reading and prayer. These things are very important to me because I want to be able to feel the spirit and the promptings of the holy ghost. I also live my faith by obeying the commandments and staying pure.

How are modesty and chastity related? How can parents teach their children to be modest in dress, language and behavior?

Camilla
They are related because modesty and chastity keeps our minds pure. Our bodies are a gift from our Heavenly Father and should be treated respectfully. One question you could ask yourself is, "Is this something I would do in our Heavenly Father's presence?" Parents can teach their children to be modest by setting an example. Show more Show less
