Hi I'm Zach

I played college football for 5 years and have played multiple sports all my life. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Im finshing up my fifth year of college in Kentucky. I played football for five years while I was at school. I'm majoring in history and I love it. I love to see how the past is effecting the present. The 1960's in the United States is my favorite topic. President John F Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. are some of my favorite people to study because, they did so much to bring civil rights to this country. I love my family I have a younger brother and we arent as close as we should be but his one of my bestfriends. I consider my friends as a part of my family. And their either at my house or we are texting back and forth. I'm a country kid that grew up in Indiana. I love 4 wheeling splitting wood and just living on the farm. It's a slower style of life but its definatly worth it. It's made me a better person in the long run. I want to learn how to dance ballroom country swing or just to learn how to dance period. Because right now I have two left feet. I love to lift weights and I've done it for such a long time it's a fun way to let of some anger or just to help you stay focussed when you need it. Its a great way to stay fit and its fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because, I was tired of hearing "hell fire and brimstone" and the political garbage that I heard when I grew up as kid. I converted when I was 23. I was scared to death to tell my parents that I had converted because I had a really bad feeling that I would be disowned. But they supported me when I told them. I love the fact that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints is such a happier place to be in. Their are so many great people and they are always smiling and they laugh so easily and I really needed that in my life. I just never really felt happy in the other church that I was a part of. The missonaries that I've meet told me to read The Book of Mormon and when I prayed to ask the Lord if this book was true. And I can tell that I found it to be true. The Missionaries made it fun to learn the principals and concepts of The Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith: I try the best that I can. I know that I fall short often but when I fall I get up and keep trying. Its helps alot when their are people their to help you. I love the fact that the people in the Church will help the best that they can with their testments and their kindness. What ever happens you just have to keep trying, keep praying, and reading The Bible, and The Book of Mormon. Just dont stop trying!

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

You can increase your faith in Jesus Christ by reading your scriptures in The Bible and The Book of Mormon. By praying to Heavenly Father. Accepting that "through Christ everyone can be saved as long as you attone for your sins. Or by simply asking for Christ to enter in to your heart and let him take over. Thats the best way that I can describe this. Show more Show less

What is being a Mormon like?

It's amazing the joy that you recieve when you realize that Heavinly Father has called you to do this. You will be so blessed by Heavenly Father for makeing the right decisons in the life. It brings yo closer together as a family. And that happiness that you feel if you convert and you see the happiness in a Mormon family it tends to melt away the hardness in your heart. It's awsome!
