Hi I'm David

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a member of a wonderful blended family of nine (me, my wife and seven kids ranging from ages 23 to 10). I'm an attorney and financial planner. I went to grade school, high school, college and law school in my native state of Arizona. I graduated from ASU College of Law in 1996 (I'm a die hard Sun Devil!). I love my job. I enjoy helping people solve problems. I enjoy helping people to success in their personal and business endeavors. I love basketball. I love the Phoenix Suns. I'm a Arizona Cardinal fan. And of course, I route for ASU on everything. I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids. I enjoy visiting new places and learning about other cultures. I hope to see many parts of the world some day. I love my country! Some of my greatest hereos are our Founding Fathers. I know that they were inspired by God to establish this great country.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (aka the Mormon church) because I know it is God's church on the earth today. I know that this church teaches me all that I need to know to return back to live with my Heavenly Father someday. I know that I can be part of an eternal family if I live my life consistently with the church's teachings. I know that Jesus Christ died that we might all live again. I know that through the atonement of Christ all mankind may be saved by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I also know that if I do not live according to what I know to be true that I am voluntarily settling for something less than what God has to offer me (kind of like settling for 2nd place when I have the ability to finish 1st). I know that God is no respecter of persons and that all man can receive an inheritance in God's Kingdom.

How I live my faith

I know that everyone on this earth is a son and daughter of God and therefore they are all my brothers and sisters. I try to see people this way. I am not a perfect man. I struggle like everyone else with the temptations of this world. I have to repent of my sins often. And while I do not commit grevious sins, I do sin. I think that all men should find peace in knowing that no matter where they live, no matter what their circumstance, that God always has his hands extended to them to bless them and to invite them back to him with open arms both in this life and in the life to come. I try to live each day according to the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I try to emulate the attributes of Christ in my life at home, work and church. I have a long way to go. And I know that I will never be perfect. I believe that certain things, faith, hope, love, charity, humility, just to name a few, are essential if we truly want to return back to live with our Heavenly Father after this life. They are the types of attributes I try to live by each day.
