Hi I'm Rebekah Gardner

I love learning! I enjoy family history, I am a car crash survivor, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I graduated from Brigham Young University in Marriage, Family, and Human Development! I find great joy in learning by study and by faith. I want to further my education to become a Marriage Family Therapist. I am currently away from my family to devote a year and a half in the service of my Lord. I learn the most through serving others! The people I serve have great strengths that teach me how to become better and how to Love more! My health is a daily struggle for me, but I am learning to rely on the Lord more to make up the difference.

Why I am a Mormon

I have come to learn for myself the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know my Heavenly father loves me and has a plan for me and all mankind to be happy. I know that the trials I am given are to help make me stronger and to prepare me for life. I love the power that God has to take a bad circumstance and have good come from it. As I live the commandments Heavenly father blesses my life spiritually and temporally. These blessing help me overcome any obsticale I face. What I enjoy most is seeing progression, growth, and peace in my life. It is rejuvinating being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Everyone wants to feel wanted! I don't want anyone to feel left out or unimportant. I know that, "the worth of a soul is great in the sight of God". I think of the savior and how he loved everyone from all backgrounds. I try extra hard to not judge, to be friendly, and to include everyone. I am still learning how far into the heart genuine compliments and gratitude go. A lot of my time is also spent in searching the scriptures to find truth that can change my heart. I enjoy sharing with everyone the truth that gives me peace and uplifts others.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

Rebekah Gardner
Our God is a loving and merciful Heavenly Father; and all of his children are dear to his heart. He has shown his love and mercy through prophets, commandments of protection, scriptures, miracles, prayer, and revelation. The best evidence we have of his love and mercy is through the atonement and sacrifice of his son Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father has Prepared a Plan, and a way, that we may all be able to eternally live with him again and have peace and happiness. I am so grateful for the Love that My Heavenly Father has and it is evident by the grace I receive when I choose to accept it. Show more Show less
