Hi I'm Ronna

I grew up in Lynn Valley, North Vancouver. Enjoyed a medical career, raised my family. Enjoy singing, gardening and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother and grandmother. Enjoy being outside and gardening most of the year. Nothing like smelling the soil and watching the flowers grow and bloom. I am interested in the Arts and love music, singing, painting, going to a good play. The highlights of my life so far: marrying my sweetheart David, raising our blended family of seven and loving the role of Nana with our grandchildren. Fulfilling my life goal and going to college. Much of my life is involved in serving others and I wouldn't have it any other way. It makes me forget about myself and makes others happy.

Why I am a Mormon

As a Latter Day Saint (Mormon) I have a deep desire to follow the Lord. He is my foundation and keeps me on the path of righteousness. There was a time in my life when I was lonely, not sure of where I was going and I didn't feel good about myself. When I realized that Jesus loved me and was always there for me my life turned around. Through living a good and honest life, I am a better person and strive to serve my fellowman, especially at home. I testify that Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ truly live.

How I live my faith

I start each day with personal devotional of prayer and scripture study. This helps me to stay focused on what is important and helps me also to gain spiritual strength. My family is very important and so I help my husband and extended family when and wherever I possibly can. Each month I go visiting teaching with another sister to our families in the congregation, to give them a uplifting lesson and to make sure they are doing alright. Also assist my husband visit his families too. I help at church on Sundays with different duties ie: teaching the children, taking attendance . My husband and I volunteer preparing sandwiches etc. at the local Community Soup Kitchen throughout the year and volunteer at local events. There is always ways to serve one another, when I just open my eyes to see others needs instead of own. There are many in need right here in our own neighborhood that need uplifting and help them. My motto is: If it needs doing THEN DO IT!
