Hi I'm Raymond Freeman

Hi. I am Raymond Freeman and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in North and South Carolina. I left home at 18 and joined the Army, traveled all over the world. I have had many assignments. I served in combat in the military and retired after 20 years of service. My wife Margaret and I have 4 children and 10 grandchildren. My wife Margaret and I have been married for 35 years. We spent 17 years in the military together traveling throughout the world and raising our family. I have always enjoyed the outdoors and all types of sports. Currently I enjoy golfing and boating. Most days I can be found boating at the lake with my family, when I'm not working or fulfilling church responsibilities.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm happy to be a Mormon because it brings me great joy and happiness in living it's principals and precepts. It has helped me to be a better man, father and husband to my wife and children. It helps me to be a better leader, and someone that others can follow and look up to.

How I live my faith

It is not easy these days and time living for Christ. However knowing that our father in Heaven loved us so much that he gave his only begotten son, and that Jesus Christ died for my sins. Makes it all worth it to live a Christ like life. I have been blessed so many times in my life by simple things as serving the poor, the needy and the community. It has been said by a great man (King Benjamin, of The Book of Mormon) that when you are in the service of your fellow man, that you are only in the service of your God!
