Hi I'm Lee Ann

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a military family. My father was an officer in the United States Air Force. Besides living in the United States, I also lived in France and England as a child. I received a degree in elementary education from Brigham Young University with a minor in music. I love to play the piano. I also enjoy reading especially the classics. I am now a mother of six children and a grandmother of ten little grandsons. They keep life exciting. I also enjoy traveling, gardening and taking long quiet walks in our beautiful countryside. We live near a lake and it is peaceful and calming.

Why I am a Mormon

Since my parents were Mormons, I was raised in this faith. Still at some point, everyone needs to decide for themselves if it is the right Church. I can remember one Sunday when I was about ten years old listening to others share their feelings about our Church. As I listened, a powerful feeling came over me and I knew that this was truly the Church of Jesus Christ and I felt an immense sense of gratitude for my membership. Through the years, I have continued to stay actively involved in the Church and have found great peace and happiness in my life. I know that God is real and knows me and loves me. He hears me when I pray and gives me answers and guidance. I also know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. Not only for me but for all of God's children. This life here on earth has purpose and meaning for me as I continue to grow and learn each day. I also know that when I die, it is not the end. I will return back to my Father in Heaven and have the opportunity to live with Him forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each day in simple and small ways. I try to follow the example of Jesus Christ in my interactions with my family and others. I strive to treat others with respect and kindness and find ways to serve them. At Church, I have the responsibility to oversee the women who are in our congregation. It is a wonderful opportunity to get to know each of them and find ways to teach and encourage them. Although we live in troubled times, by living my faith to the best of my ability, I feel at peace and have found great happiness in my life.
