Hi I'm Eszter.

I'm in love with cities I've never been to and people i've never met, i am enthusiastic about life, full with fire and joy.

About Me

I got baptized in 2010 and eversince my life has been so crazy and great! I am originally from a small town in Hungary, but my family decided to move to England more than a year ago now, and I am about to start my own journey in the United States as I am starting college.

Why I am a Mormon

I have faced questions like: 'Why are you a Mormon?' or 'Why is it important to you to have faith?' or 'Why isn't it enough just to be a good person without investigating any religious institution?' in my membership of the church in the past 3 years. Sometimes it was hard to answer those questions to myslef. Even those times when I was really sure and happy about being a member, it was extremely hard to tell others why I really was a Mormon. I still barely can find the perfect words I can put here, but there is one thing I am sure of. During these 3 and a half years I have been blessed in my life with things I couldn't even imagine before. I feel like my eyes had been opened to the World that was always around me but I was too lazy or scared to really look at it. I'v learned new things about other people, about God and His Son, the Holy Ghost, but most importantly about myself and my own capabilities. I have realized that Our Father in Heaven did not send us here to suffer and feel lost. He sent us to learn how we can handle different experiences in such circumstances. And yet, hard times are needed to see our weaknesses and know what we can do to get better. I am forever grateful for the life I have been given. I enjoy every moment of it, even when I feel low or unimportant. I know that I have a plan, and I also know that Heavenly Father watches over that plan. I believe that I can accomplish it through Jesus Crhist.

How I live my faith

I've always been a dreamer and for some reason even when I didn't know about the church I just knew that things would always work out if we believe they would. I am a young single right now, about to move to a totally new and different country but I know that I will be watched over because of the daily decisions I make - even if those decisions are not the best at all.. Heavenly Father is always there just like a good friend or your shadow and I am trying to comfort people with the knowledge I have. Christ's Atonement is a sacred blessing to each of us but we shouldn't be afraid to use it at the hard times, such as we use a napkin when we cry - like a reflex. I am still learning these things, I am not an expert, I have a long way to go but I am ready to take on this journey.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Eszter.
I remember when I first felt the Spirit of our Heavenly Father and it was so sweet I wanted to feel it more and more. I started to read more about the Nature of God in scriptures, in church magazines. I talked to my friends - even non-members - and asked them what they think about Him. I have learned so many things, but i had more and more questions. So I kneled down to pray and ask him - such as the modern friend requests - to help me find a way I can know Him better, I can have a personal relationship with Him. I so eagerly wanted to be his friend, his daughter He's proud of. And how loving He is for turning to me when I was turning to Him. I got so many answers, I feel I know Him now personally, eventhough I still believe there are so many things He hasn't showed to me of his mercy, love and kindness yet. Show more Show less
