Hi I'm Aaron

I'm a recent graduate in mechanical engineering and computer science, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on the east coast, so I love nice, green trees. I also love dogs, cheese, and soft, comfy things. I like making all sorts of stuff, whether it's in the machine shop or with a glue gun and tape. I graduated from my university with a mechanical engineering major and computer science minor.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, so I've been able to have a lot of spiritual experiences to strengthen my faith. The Holy Ghost has let me know, in no uncertain terms, that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's church, with all His doctrine and authority He's given to men.

How I live my faith

I try to make sure I spend time in the scriptures every day, even when I have lots of other things to do. If I approach it correctly, this is a very effective way to keep the Spirit in my life and my mind on the Lord. I also attend church weekly and the Temple once a month. And I try to be kind to people around me. I've also recently begun delving into my family history more.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Aaron
The Book of Mormon is a sacred record like the Bible. Christ's church existed in Ancient America as well as in Ancient Israel, and it generated hundreds of years' worth of its own miracles, revelations, and inspiring events. A prophet named Mormon abridged the records of the Ancient American church, and the resulting book was therefore called the Book of Mormon. Show more Show less
