Hi I'm Hayden Baxter

I love walking through the Red Woods. I am a dreamer.我愛台灣. I love my family, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love being happy, so whatever involves having fun with friends of family I am up for. I love learning, thinking and pondering. I also like to be out doors and traveling, so I am always looking for the next adventure. It doesn't matter whether it's hiking, skiing, camping, riding horses, or hunting, I love it all.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was baptized into the Church at 8 years old. My whole family are members of the Church. I grew up doing everything a normal Mormon would do Primary, Young Men's, Mutual, Seminary. Unfortunately, throughout my youth I was frustrated with the church, I never really got it. I remember several times going out and praying for a testimony and feeling that I got nothing out of it. Luckily I had enough faith in God, to decide to serve a Mission. On February 18, 2012 I got into the MTC and from that day there had been no looking back. Now when I think about it, I feel the Lord was patiently waiting for me to take this step of faith. He has blessed me with Faith and a firm conviction of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My testimony has come through studying the word of God, by diligently doing his will. My conversion is an ongoing process, and every day my faith in my Savior Jesus Christ grows stronger and stronger. I know God. He loves me. I am his son. As his son he want's me to be my best, he knows what I can do, and who I can become. As I have trusted and have had faith in him, he has given me new knowledge, and experiences, to help me learn and change . God is a God of miracles both big and small, I have seen and felt them in my life. I have felt the power of Jesus Atonement in my life. I am so grateful that God loves us enough to give us the gospel. He has given us guides, so that we can be with our families and loved ones forever. I know that Jesus lives, I know that God lives, and I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints is Gods Kingdom on Earth. I love my Heavenly Father , I love my family, and I love the life that I have.

How I live my faith

I apply it. I think that is such an important principal. Don't just gain an understanding, but make a bridge between your every day life and the gospel than apply it. Right now I am a missionary in Taiwan and, I am loving every second of it.
