Hi I'm Alyssa

I live in Utah. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a fun loving person that loves to laugh and have a good time. I love everything about music. I have a vast collection of music, and I play the trumpet in a brass band. In high school, I also participated in concert band, jazz band, and marching band. I also love the outdoors, and I enjoy camping, boating, and riding motorcycles and 4-wheelers. I'm working to save money to go to college so that I can further my education.

Why I am a Mormon

At first I was a Mormon because my parents were and they raised me as one. As I got older, I started drifting away from the gospel and wan't going to church anymore. I had struggled with depression for a while, and the further away from the church I got, the more depressed I became. I started noticing that my friends who were faithful members of the church seemed so happy. I realized that I wanted to be happy again, and I started to become more and more faithful. I started to become less and less depressed, and I gained a real testimony of Jesus Christ and the atonement. If I had not had faithful Mormon friends that inspired me, my life would be completely different, and not in a good way. I'm so thankful for the gospel. The gospel saved me and brought me out of misery and darkness. I now strive to be a better person and to be a faithful church member so that one day I can be worthy of being sealed to my future husband in the Lord's temple.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a good example. Because I had good examples to guide me, I know how important they can be. I dress modestly and tell my friends when they need to do so also. I try to treat people with kindness and respect. I also avoid swearing, in addition to many other things.
