Hi I'm Ian Sanderson

Hello! My name is Ian Sanderson. I am from Utah, USA. I love my family, video games, and being active. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am twenty-three years old and I have lived in Utah for my whole life. I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for my whole life. I come from a family of six people and I am the third of four children. I like to do various things like play video games, draw, hang out with friends and family, and I also enjoy sports like basketball, volleyball, airsoft, and golf. I served for two years as a missionary for the Church in Nagoya, Japan. My favorite thing to do with friends is teach them how to make Japanese food and I love trying new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church, but I have come to know for myself that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that Joseph Smith restored God's true church to the earth. I also know that Jesus Christ is my savior and he loves everyone. I have seen first-hand the blessings of this church in my family. I am so grateful for the positive impact that it has had on me and my relationships.

How I live my faith

I love reading the Book of Mormon everyday. Through the Book of Mormon, I learn how to follow Christ. I also feel God's love as I read of his blessings and mercy toward men. I know that by applying the teachings of the Book of Mormon in my family, we have grown together in love and peace. I also enjoy attending church every Sunday. At church I learn how to follow God's plan for us. I also try to follow the example of Jesus Christ by doing my best to make the right choices everyday. The biggest thing I do to live my faith, however, is try to be an example and emulate the attributes of Jesus Christ towards others around me. Whether I'm at church meetings, in the woods playing airsoft with friends, or having dinner with my family, I am strengthed as I work to become more like Christ and help others to do so as well.
