Hi I'm Tracey

I grew up in Montana. My husband and I live in Idaho. My husband and I farm. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I farm in Idaho. We love riding in the tractor, going 4 wheeling, and camping with our children. I love to go to a monthly card party, cut out vinyl, scrapbook, but most of all, spend time with my family. I help out my husband by doing A/P for our business and farm.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a Mormon. I have always known in my heart that the Book of Mormon is the Word of God, written here in the American continent, by prophets called to keep the record of the people. Just as the Bible is the word of God, so is the Book of Mormon. Going through Primary and seminary (study of scriptures when you are in High School) we were always taught, that we need to gain a testimony of these things for ourselves. The promise that the last prophet wrote in the end of the Book of Mormon is important, because Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ wants us to know for ourselves if these things are true!! The Holy Ghost is given to us to help know between right and wrong. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior, and he overcame 2 things that would prevent us to get back to our Heavenly Father. Sin and death. Sin, because no unclean thing can be in the presence of God. We have the opportunity to repent of our sins and become clean again. Death, because Jesus Christ was crucified, and then he was resurrected, so we may all be resurrected also.I want to be with my family forever, therefore I want an eternal family. Life is ever changing and sometimes crazy, but having a solid foundation of the gospel of Jesus Christ has been an anchor in my life. "Life is not to be endured, it is to be enjoyed." If you are keeping the commandments of God, you will receive the blessings that God has promised us, and that makes us happy! We can really realize how blessed we are!!! I served a 1 1/2 years (girls serve 18 months) mission in Buenos Aires North, Argentina. We pay for our own way, and it was very, very hard to overcome the language, and difference in lifestyles, BUT....It was amazing to serve and teach and mostly love the people of Argentina. You have to have a testimony of what you are teaching, and love and serve the people!! I know that Jesus Christ lives and that he is our Savior. I know that God loves us!

How I live my faith

I participate in our ward by serving in Primary for children. I now am Primary President and coordinate the children's programs and lessons each week. Sometimes we do service projects, and fun activities for the children. I also Visit teach some ladies that live near me. When someone is sick, or has a baby, or just needs some extra help, we are more than happy to go in and help out where we can, besides our monthly visit. If people live in our ward boundaries, and they are not Mormon, we try to help them out also. My husband loves to help out at our daughter's school board.
