Hi I'm Alex

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a future LDS missionary to the country of Ecuador and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was taught the gospel at a young age by my parents. But while my dad is no longer a member and my mom has become inactive, I have always had a testimony of this church. While this can be hard at times, I feel that it has allowed me find out for myself that this church is true. This year, I've had a strong desire to know if the church is true. I've sometimes asked myself "what if they're (critics of the Church) right, and we're actually wrong?" In order to answer this, I've spent many hours researching and learning about church history and the teachings of Joseph Smith and other leaders. In addition, I've studied the scriptures more and prayed more. Whenever I do this, I always feel the Holy Spirit with me, and it testifies of the truthfulness of this latter-day work. I've gained a stronger testimony. I know it's the spirit giving me this answer. While there's those who say these feelings don't mean anything, I can't deny what I've felt. I know, without a doubt, that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. All of this is true. I've become closer to God and my Savior Jesus Christ through this church. I've come to know what the atonement means in my life. I can feel the Savior's love reaching out to me. This church means so much to me. It has truly shaped who I am. I wish that everyone could feel what I have felt.

How I live my faith

I go to church on my own every Sunday, and always do my best to fulfill all of my duties in the Aaronic Priesthood. I was recently called into the stake youth council, and I look forward to serving in there.
