Hi I'm Tyler

I grew up in the States. I love cars, cleaning repairing and building them, and, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am, as of right now, trying to figure out where I am support to be going in my life, what I want to be doing for school and also a career. I am the youngest in a family of five and I also have my Grandmother living with us for the time being. I am almost fluent in Mandarin Chinese and I also love any thing about cars.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I have been a member my whole life and I had a period of a disbelief in my life. But as I have gone forward with faith, I have seen how God really does have a plan for us and He really does want to see us as happy as we can be and I know that it is only through the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ can we really find that joy. I know families can be together for time and all of eternity too. It might sound like a long time to be with the same people, but it isn't long enough. I love this Gospel with all of my heart and soul and I know that it is true.

How I live my faith

One way that I have lived my faith is, I just got back from the island of Taiwan off the coast of China. While I was there, I was a missionary, and I also provided service to flood victims after a typhoon among other things.

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

Tyler
Think of it like this. Your driving down the road and you run a red light and there is an 90 year old Grandma that tells you to pull over, so you do. She writes you a ticket, are you gonna pay? Probably not seeing as how she does NOT have the authority to do that. Now if was the police you would probably pay it. But if you showed the police the ticket from the Grandma, they are probably going to count that "ticket" the Grandma wrote as a worthless piece of paper. So if we don't have the authority to perform baptism, then it is absolutely worthless. Show more Show less
