Hi I'm Sam

I am a sports fanatic, I love to be outside doing things, I am a Jedi Master and I'm a Mormon...

About Me

I was born in Australia and am living in Adelaide. I'm currently serving in the England LEEDS Mission. I'm very keen on my sports particularly basketball, volleyball and Rugby League. I graduated high school in 2010 with flying colors. I like to party. I spend a lot of time with friends. I am over energetic and can be a handful at times ask anyone who knows me they will say the same. I have a pretty genuine sense of humor and use it well, oh so very very well.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon. I'm not part of this religion because its what my parents want, its something I want. Though I do owe a great deal to them for all they do the love support and lessons learned. Mum for all she does and Dad for all he taught me about the power of prayer and exercising the Priesthood in the service of others. It has blessed my life greatly! I prayed to know for myself the truthfulness of the gospel and I know its true, because just as the scriptures promise (Moroni 10:3-5) the Holy Ghost did in reality testify to me the truth of these things and I cannot deny it. In the low parts of life when it gets you down I felt the loving arms of God as I reached out to him in what I like to call an act of faith in a moment of need. The happiness and blessings that come from this church is incredible I would not have my life any other way. The many aspects that the gospel covers such as The Plan of Salvation, Eternal Families, Prophets, Apostles, modern and continuing revelation, it all comes together in a perfect way. I cant see myself being part of the world today with out being in the church. It's my life style and thanks to it I have made many friends who keep me in line and that I owe so much to in helping me progress in this gospel. From friends on the home front to the mighty and beloved people of my mission through them I have gained so much and will forever be grateful for all they have done for me.

How I live my faith

I live the gospel to the best of my ability. I excersise my priesthood authority and I never turn down an opportunity for a service project, I love to serve. Hence the choice to serve a mission I will be a missionary as of may 2012 in The Mighty England Leeds Mission! I have held several callings mostly from my time in the youth program, also as a Priesthood teacher. I come from what was one a big ward, nowdays well not so much I always take the chance to speak in the ward and in one year spoke 11 times so almost once a month, love it. From always lending a hand and doing whatever I can to help another has really shaped a lot of my character and it largely reponsible for who I am today.
