Hi I'm Kristi

I'm a Mormon. I am a stay-at-home Mom devoted to keeping my family together forever.

About Me

I am a stay at home Mom. In school I was a straight A student with a lot of potential. This continued as I obtained my bachelors degree in Elementart Education. A lot of people rolled their eyes when I got married at age 20 and probably again when I had my daughter just a month after graduation at age 22. But this has been the most rewarding and challenging career I could ever hope for. I believe that my potential can only be reached by helping others. My family is what matters to me. That is why I was married in the temple- so that I could be with them forever. As a member of the Church, I want everyone to be able to experience those same blessings. That is why I continue to go to the temple- to give those same blessings to those who have died wothout the opportunity. Everyone deserves the chance to be with those they love forever.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church. My parents were born into families who were members of the Church as were their parents. While this has helped me and encouraged me to a member, it is not all. I have been blessed to come to my own knowledge of the Gospel. I have studied the Gospel, listened to the words of our prophets, alive and dead, and prayed to know if it is true. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that it is true. I have received that burning in my bosom, testifying that Jesus is the Christ, that He knows me personally and loves me. His Church is on the Earth today and it is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. God is aware of me. I am his daughter. He wants me to be happy. He has a Plan specific for me and as I seek it out, He will guide me. This does't mean that my life is a walk in the park. I still have my trials. He doesn't lay out every decision for me; that would steal my privilege of choosing for myself. He lets me learn so that I can improve myself. His goal for me is for me to become even as He is- to become perfect. This life is such a gift. I know that as I try my hardest, Christ will do the rest. He is my Savior and Redeemer.

How I live my faith

I have had many wonderful opportunities to serve within the Church. Currently I serve the Young Women in my ward, ages 12-18 years old. Within that calling I have the opportunity to get to know them better and try to guide the, towards happy living. I try to serve by example. I also have opportunities to teach them specific Gospel lessons and help with activities designed to help them learn good values to incorporate in their lives. I also serve as a visiting teacher. I have been assigned a partner and together we go to the homes of three other women at least every month. We bring a Gospel message and the support that other woman may need.
