Hi I'm Katharine

I am a golfer, I play piano, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in a small town that is usually described as a 'hic town.' I love the small town atmosphere, especially the quirks that come from it, like knowing everybody and everything that goes on. My favorite sport is golf, and I love being able to go out on a golf course to improve and to enjoy nature. I have a great passion for food, not only cooking it but eating it as well. My favorite meal includes spaghetti, jello, and chocolate chip cookies. I am also a musician. I have been playing the piano and singing since I was seven. After high school, I plan to go on to college to further my education. I am interested in learning languages and about other cultures, and want to travel the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church, but learned through seminary that I needed to gain a testimony for myself. I accepted my seminary teacher's challenge to read the Book of Mormon and pray about what I read. I was able to gain my own testimony and I am very happy to be able to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

All of my friends know that I am a Mormon. It is important to me that they know my standards, and that I follow them. I love going to seminary every morning and learning about the scriptures. Even if it seems early sometimes, my day is always so much better because I know that I started it out right.
