Hi I'm Ali

I'm a youth group leader, a math teacher, an avid baker, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on volleyball in Southern California and was blessed to play collegiate volleyball. After completing my degree, I returned to California and taught SAT prep classes part-time and started a family. Three kids and one big move across the country later; I am currently a full-time mom and part-time: teacher, youth group leader, cookie queen, dog walker, and knitter.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in a Mormon home. I had wonderful parents who taught me about Christ and the importance of serving others. I was encouraged to seek out and gain my own testimony of of Christ. When I went away to college, I was faced with pivotal decisions that gave me the opportunity to turn to the Lord. My testimony was strengthened and I knew for myself that the church was true. I have continued to seek our the Lord's guidance throughout my daily life.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as the young women leader in our ward. This means I get to spend part of Sunday services and Wednesday night with girls ages 12-18. I LOVE serving with the youth. They are the spirit of the church. I so admire their energy and enthusiasm for the Lord.
