Hi I'm Brianna

I am true blue through and through till the day I die, always and forever, a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending college. I am going into the public and community health education program at Utah valley university. I love to sing, it is my passion. I love all kinds of music, well except rap... I am super outgoing and loud. I can be very over the top and dramatic at times. I love to laugh and have a good time. I love talking and getting to know people! I love the Gospel with all of my heart! I hate to think of where I would be without it in my life! Christ is my savior, and my brother! I can never re-pay him for what he has given me, but I can start by living my life the way he would want me to, by being a good person, and leading by example.

Why I am a Mormon

I am LDS because I was born into the church, but it was most assuredly my choice to stay part of the gospel. I have been through so much to get me to the point where I am at today. I am one of the only members in my family who has continued to follow the gospel, and for a while before I moved into a singles ward I would go to church by myself every week. Since I was a little girl my dad has told me that I am going to meet a boy that is catholic and I am going to marry him and convert, but he doesn't realize that I love being mormon! I have dedicated my life to learn more and to help the church grow. There were times in my life when I doubted so much about the church. I didn't believe that god was there for me, and I thought that I was just a smudge in the world that didn't matter. I eventually got over those doubts and came to know for myself that I was important to our heavenly father and that I would always be loved by someone even when I didn't feel like there was anyone. I know that heavenly father ansewers prayers and that he knows each and every one of us by name l. He knows us better than we know ourselves. I know that we are given people that will help us grow and will help us through the hardest times in our lives. I am so very greatful for the trials that I have been given, which might sound weird, but it is the truth. This gospel has helped me realize who I am, and where I am going in this life. I may nut be perfect, but I am trying my hardest.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service. I do not want anybody to feel as though they are going through this life alone, so I make sure others feel the pure love of Christ through my actions. Service does not have to be huge things like building a house for the homeless, or giving all of your money to a charity to support blind kids in Africa, although those things are wonderful acts of kindness. Service can be listening to someone talk about their day whether it be good or bad, or bringing someone a nice hand written letter to tell them that you have been thinking about them. I try my hardest to make sure everyone that I come in contact with feels important, because that is what Christ would want me to do.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon temples? What goes on in Mormon temples?

Brianna
Every member is allowed into the temple when they become worthy to partake of those blessings. There are specific ordinances that are performed in the temples that are designed to tie families together forever, and help them return to God. The temple has a social spirit inside of it and requires every member who attends regularly to uphold a certain standard in order to uphold that spirit. Show more Show less
