Hi I'm Charlie

I paint, study people, and started my own business while growing up.

About Me

I am a student studying anthropology and political science. I love being with my family any chance that I get. I started my own business while growing up to pay for my schooling and serving a mission. I learned to work hard from the example and encouragement of my parents. I love to teach other people and trying to see the world from their point of view.

Why I am a Mormon

I have attended church with my parents my entire growing up years. I have had questions and doubts, but going to church and study the words of Prophets with my family have always gotten me through to satisfactory answers. I do not have an experience that converted me, but a lifestyle. I have found that just as the Bible says, I have learned "line upon line" and when I wanted something faster, or more concrete, I would find that waiting and having faith allowed me to believe--to find my answer. Life is too short to we are expected to do too much to sit around and wait for an answer. I know that it is as we go out and do something about our situation, to try and fix our problems and to find our answers that we receive help from God. My belief in God stems from my parents, leaders in my local wards and branches, and family members. I find that as I trust God, things happen, most of the time within myself, that I know would not have been able to happen without a supreme being. Why do I believe that this church allowes me to receive this help and do not go looking for answers at other churches or through other beliefs? Prayer. Asking God if this is right, and sticking to it.

How I live my faith

I pray every morning. Asking God what I need to do for: Him, others, myself. I go out into the world, experiencing many things, feeling many different sensations. When I feel that times are hard, I know that it will pass. I read from the scriptures every day and usually I find something that relates to my life or someone I know. When I finish the day I will pray again, hope the next day can improve upon today. Every aspect of my life will eventually be influenced by my religion.
