Hi I'm Chelsea

I grew up in Snowflake. I married the man who hung the moon, together we have three awesome kids and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of three who tries to make the most out of life. I love to play sports especially volleyball. I've ran a triathalon sprint and a ragnar, I've sky dived, been in a pagent, I played in a state basketball game, I played volleyball and basketball in college, I've killed an elk and a deer, I married the biggest red neck, I can shoot a bow, I've had three children, I'm a weenie arm wrestler, I sing in the shower and I like to go camping. I love to be outside with my family. Going to the lake is my favorite vacation. I can eat a full footlong from Subway. Thai food will always make my day better. I love to laugh. I'm almost positive that's how my husband got me to fall head over hills for him. I've made a lot of mistakes and have tried to learn from each of them. My goals are to raise my children to be be smart, loving, fun, kind and happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because it is a solid, firm foundation in which I know to be true. It makes me happy and complete. I can feel the truthfulness in the church by the way I have lived and the way it has made me be a better person. The way the plan of salvation gives us hope to one day be reunited with our loved ones. Recently I had a three week old son pass away from Hypoplastic Left heart Syndrome. It was hard to lose him, but knowing I will one day see him again and knowing he is busy in the work of our Savior has made it bareable to move forward with life. I have found comfort in my Savior. I know He is aware of me and aware of my needs. Even in the simplest of forms. I see the world around me and the hardships and troubles people face each day. I know satan is real and is trying to grip anyone who is walking a slippery slope. I also know when we have made mistakes our Savior is quick to forgive us as we repent. He wants us to succeed. I am grateful to have a loving, modern day prophet, President Thomas S. Monson. He is an amazing example to me. I know the Lord speaks through him and He will not lead us astray. There are so many blessings that come from living the commandments. Living the gospel has made me happy, even in times of trial and trouble. My testimony is so dear to me and the one thing that keeps me motivated to be better. This is why I am a mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to fullfill my calling as a wife and a mother. Church is a nessescity each week to renew my covenants I have made with the Savior. Prayer is the constant privelage I get to communicate with my Father in Heaven. Monday nights are reserved for my family. I have a wonderful calling to visit three amazing women each month and I have the oppurtunity to teach a rowdy bunch of 17-18 year old kids each sunday. I love all these people I have gotten to know in my callings.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Chelsea
I know with all my heart families are eternal. How sad it would be to think this life is all we have. What would be the pourpose of it? My family is everything to me, especially my spouse and children. My husband and I lost our son and knowing we will one day be reunited with him gives us great peace and comfort. I am grateful to my Savior who was crucified not only for our sins, but who was ressurected and has given us a way back to Him. Show more Show less
