Hi I'm Kylee Thomas

I love the Simple things in life! I am a Church Service Missionary, Preschool Teacher's Assistant and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! my name is Kylee, I'm 24yrs old. I'm 5'' 3', and that doesn't stop me from what I know and believe, I am a Mormon, I know this church is true. I enjoy the simple things, they are what make the big things. Every day is a struggle, but with the help of our Father in Heaven, we can do anything. My life is centered around this Religion, The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints and the Gospel that it teaches, I am SO HAPPY! I know God loves all of his children, no matter what. I find enjoyment in the Gospel, family, friends, activities in my ward, Sports: Ultimate Frisbee, bad mitten, basketball, tennis, softball, flag football, ice skating, being outdoors, Singing, making new songs on the piano & other instruments, trying new things, Smiling and laughing, being random and spontaneous. I like making a difference, and helping other's. I love to do service(One of my favorite things) now my Service Mission, It is just, so fun! :) Not only do I enjoy these things, but being able to use things gifts and talents to bless the lives of others brings so much joy.

Why I am a Mormon

Everyday is a struggle, to be a certain way, some may say that I can't do things, bring me down, but God knows I can and he is there, whether I knew it or not. Many times he would show me of his love through someone else or something that made me happy. One of my favorite quotes is by Spencer W. Kimball- "“God does watch over us and does notice us, but it usually through someone else that he meets our needs.” I know this to be true, I have seen it bless my life and the lives of those around me. We don't have to be a Super star or be Famous to get God's attention or love, he already knows who we are, Our worth is so great, and he loves us just the way we are. God has helped me accomplish a lot, and he has helped me to do things that other's thought I couldn't do, but he knew, I could do it. With Him there is nothing I can't do. I can't Imagine not being a Mormon, I love who I am. I continue to follow God's gospel because I know it is true, I know he lives, that Jesus Christ is real and lives, I continue to follow his gospel because without it, I wouldn't be where I am today, I follow because I love it, because I know it is right, I have never felt more happiness, joy, goodness, and the strength to carry on, I trust God, love him, and I am grateful for all that he does. I follow because I know each of us is worth it, and we are a somebody, that each of us IS important, and most of all, God does loves us. How I know, is because I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith, I take one step at a time, take one day at a time, I enjoy the small and simple things in life, when I'm having a bad day, I simply look for the small things to help me get through the day. I try to tell God atleast two things each day that I am grateful for, I want to show God right back how much I love him, am grateful for each day, and for all that he does. I can also live my faith by submitting to callings God would have me do, I am currently a Compassionate Service Committee Leader as well as a Service Missionary, what's so great about callings? I get to help show God's love, come closer to Him, others as well as myself. I live my faith by going to Church every Sunday, I pray every day that I can find someone that needs my help. I read the scriptures, it helps me to know, what I should do, to keep his commandments. It is not always easy, but I know it is SO worth it. I love being a Mormon.
