Hi I'm Andy Black

I was raised in the church. I love being a member. I love life and believe we can save the world one smile or kind act at a time.

About Me

I am an average guy who likes to go out and do fun things like skydiving and go kart racing. I am #3 of 8 children: 3 boys, 2 girls (twins), and 3 boys. I listen to video game music, I love karaoke, I love video games and Im a HUGE Nintendo gamer and love Zelda, I am a HUGER THAN HUGE animal lover, and if you give me a tune, I can write a song to it in a day. :) I enjoy baking desserts and then eating them, dancing, being super goofy, making others laugh, and playing piano (even though I can't really play it). I have dreams of becoming a Youtube sensation and bringing smiles and laughter to people all over the world due to my silly nature. I also want to work with animals since they bring me the most joy in life. I like being used to change someones life forever which is something i've experienced on my mission. I used to be very shy as a child but in college i broke out of my shell and became more outgoing. I'm now on a mission and I wouldn't trade if for the world. Sometimes life is hard, but I know that if we stick to the Gospel, we will be blessed.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because I was born into the church. I was raised in it. I have felt the spirit in my life and I love the standards because they make sense to me. If I wasn't a member, I don't even want to think about where I would be in life right now... *shudders* But I have come to love this church and all it stands for. Having been on my mission for over a year, I have come to know that this really is THE church of Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and I enjoy reading it. even if the Isaiah chapters are difficult. My favorite promise in the Book of Mormon is that if you keep the commandments, you will be blessed in your life. I try to apply this in my life by striving to live the commandments because it is that simple. If we do what God wants us to do, we will be greatly blessed.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by keeping commandments and doing what is right. I am now in Everett Washington for a mission. I am excited about my mission since I have learned a lot about the church and now I know how to teach it to others. I make sure to be a good example by not getting into trouble. I want people to see that we mormons may be wierd (I am super-mega-turbographics wierd in my own way) but really we aren't. We are good, nice, friendly citizens who have good standards and choose the right. And we are not robots. We have a good, wonderful way of life that everyone should experience.
