Hi I'm Rob

I am from the Cowboy Capital of the World. I am a football player, a "dec-athlete" and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello friends! My name is Rob and I am from the Cowboy Capital of the World!! Yes, I have worked on a ranch and rode horses, but sadly I am not a cowboy. I am a former football player and decathlete. For a while, football was my life! I lived breathed and dreamt about practice and gamedays! Then one day in a game I broke the bone in my knee and had to get reconstructive surgury. Thus ended my football career. In place of football I took up Leadership, Advanced Placement classes, and Academic Decathlon. As a senior in high school I took second place in Acedemic Decathalon in the State of California for speech and achieved 8th in overall scores in my division and was ranked 16th in the Nation. I then attended BYU provo for one semester before going on a mission to Milwaukee Wisconsin.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother is a member of the church, but my father is not. I was baptised into the church but at some point I had to make a choice whether I wanted to follow in my mothers or my fathers footsteps. I remember my brother being a very big influence in my decision to be a TRUE member of the church. I read the Book of Mormon for myself and "gained a knowledge of its truth and divinity by the power of the Holy Ghost." I now know without a doubt that I am a member of the restored church once again established on the earth. I know that my redeemer and savior Jesus Christ leads, guides and directs this church through the prohpet. I know this to be true. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

How I live my faith

I served a mission in the Milwaukee Wisconsin Mission. I have devoted a mere two years to the service of my God and his children in this area. I found, taught, and helped all those who were willing. I now live His gospel in a way that would make him happy.
