Hi I'm Nick

I was born in New York, grew up in Utah, I'm a drummer, I love music, I love sports, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a young adult with a story, just like everyone else. I grew up in the Church, but didn't always understand how it was relevant to me, why I should go, and what I get out of it. This led me to stop going for years. Eventually, after working for a while and trying the whole college thing, I realized there was a void in my life, and I needed to fill it. I started going back to Church and realized how fulfilling the Gospel of Jesus Christ can be in our lives. I'm the 2nd youngest of a family of five, and my family is super important to me. They've always been there for me, even when I haven't been the nicest son/brother. I like to play drums, love music, love playing basketball and other random sports, and I love being with people and having a good time! I've found the most happiness as I've studied and applied the teachings of Jesus Christ in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon, because it makes sense to me. There are so many answers, pretty much anything I ask has an answer in the scriptures, whether that be in the Doctrine and Covenants (a book of modern revelation), the Book of Mormon (an ancient record comparable to the Bible), or the Bible. The importance of family strikes me as a huge part as well, I'm a huge advocate of strong families. I can find peace and happiness in living the Gospel principles and commandments that are taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and it helps give me a solid foundation whereon if I build, I cannot fall. I know that this is the true church, because I have read, studied, and prayed about the Book of Mormon, and I know that it is the word of God. I also know that since the Book of Mormon is true, that Joseph Smith was a prophet, called of God, and that God still loves us today and speaks to us through Prophets, just like He did in times of old.

How I live my faith

Currently I live my faith by serving a full-time mission in the Texas Fort Worth Mission. I love it! I love waking up every day knowing I get the chance to share the blessings that have enriched my life and my family's life. We as missionaries are really teachers of the faith, and that is how we live our faith, we go around teaching people about Jesus Christ, and His Gospel!
