Hi I'm Jackie Ober

I grew up in Brasil, now live in Georgia with my husband and 4 beautiful girls and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married to my husband & best friend, for 20 years. I am blessed to be a stay-at-home mother of four beautiful girls, who bring me happiness each day. When I'm not at a soccer game or basketball game watching my girls play, I love to play tennis, and I've found a love for reading. I have learned that life isn't always easy, but with the love of family and the knowledge of a Heavenly Father who knows me and loves me, i know things will be ok.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are converts to the Mormon Church. Two missionaries knocked on their door, while they were living in Brasil. What got my parents attention was the fact that families can be together for eternity. It bothered them that they were married "till death do us part". Once they listened to the missionary lessons and read the book of mormon, they felt the Spirit of the Lord testifying that what they were taught was true. I am eternally grateful for my parents desire to find the truth. Because of this I was raised in a loving home, where we learned to pray to Heavenly Father, and rely on Him. I am grateful for the knowledge that I have so I can teach it to my own children. The gospel brings me peace, comfort and happiness.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is a "life style" ... it's not just something we do on Sundays. I love being involved in my church activities, and I try to be a good example in all that I do. My goal each day is to make someone smile, whether it be on the tennis court, soccer field or in the grocery store. I want people to see my smile, and wonder ... what makes her so happy.
