Hi I'm Amanda

I play the cello. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I worked in Ecuador and Mexico helping to take care of orphans, graduated from college in Radiographic Science, and am a mother of twins. I love music and playing the cello. My husband and I enjoy spending time outdoors with our children.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have learned that the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ brings me the most joy in my life. It gives me the tools I need to better my life, focus on my family, serve those around me, and look forward knowing that my family will be together for all eternity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith best through finding ways to serve those around me. Sometimes it is through playing my cello and sharing my testimony through music, and other times it is through raking leaves or working in the yard for a neighbor. I find that I better understand the gospel of Jesus Christ as I try to center my life around our Savior and by doing those things which He would want me to do. My ultimate goal is to help my children learn to love Christ as they learn to love and serve each other and those around us at school and in our neighborhood. I heard once that our faith in Christ is directly correlated to how we treat others. I love our Savior and it just makes sense to share that love through serving others.
