Hi I'm Bret

I'm from California, I love to snowboard, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Northern California and I've lived here my whole life. I love outdoor sports like snowboarding, wakeboarding, skimboarding, and riding bicycles. I am also a college student at College of the Redwoods.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up without any religion in my life until I was 14 years old. I was taught by Mormon Missionaries and decided to be baptized. I have come to know, without a shadow of a doubt, that the Book of Mormon is true, and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. I learn new things about this gospel every day, and I love it. I know that God hears our prayers, and that He answers them. I also know that the Atonement is real, and that it can bless your life beyond comprehension. When I became a member of this church, I didn't think that I would serve a mission. Over the past few months I have been blessed with the comfort of the Spirit, and I know that God wants me to serve a mission.

How I live my faith

I attend a "singles branch" in our area. It is mainly for young single adults who are not married yet. It is mostly college students and fairly small, but the Spirit is strong there every Sunday.
