Hi I'm Marcelle

I grew up in Cameroon. I love to music and the arts. I'm an aspiring nurse, I love to bake. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a native of Douala, Cameroon. I moved to the United States at age 11. I'm bilingual in French and English. I attended BYU-Idaho where I studied Political Science, but I have fallen in love with the medical field so I will go into the nursing field. I absolutely love to play tennis, I'm addicted to my Kindle--I love to read good books. I'm serving in the Utah Provo Mission and I love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I love the peace and joy that this Restored Gospel has brought into my life. I have found so much hope and love, more than I could ever imagine. I used to feel so alone in this world because of the tragic circumstances that have surrounded me, but the I have found new found hope which is what propels me forward. I wake up each day looking for the positive in life because I know that my Redeemer lives and that His true Church is on the earth again.

How I live my faith

I absolutely love learning new things. So I often act as a coach to individuals who need help in figuring out the bureaucracy of college applications; or, I fix up resumes to help individuals look for jobs as they strive to become self reliant. I look for service opportunities around me--that may include preparing meals for a family in need, providing groceries, helping a family move, lending a hand to a neighbor-whatever the case may be, I strive to be ready to help.
