Hi I'm Nancy

I'm a wife, mother, and grandmother of 14, I love to cook and sew and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was always a "stay-at-home" mom and loved it. I managed to earn money doing crafts and selling them. I don't have a college degree and I've never lived alone. I was married when I was 19 and that was 47 years ago. Our three sons are a credit to their dad and me and our 14 grandchildren are a blessing beyond measure. I love my life and feel so blessed.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 30, I came to a place in my life and didn't like where I was going. We were happily married and our sons were 4, 6, and 8, but there definitely was something missing. I decided to turn to the one thing I knew would be able to help me...and that was prayer to my Heavenly Father. Within just a week or two, the missionaries knocked on our door. My husband still doesn't know why he let them in, but I do...that's because God hears and answers sincere prayer...and he was answering mine. We loved the Spirit that the missionaries brought into our home and were baptized a short time later. The "Plan of Happiness" has blessed our lives ever since and we are all so very grateful for it. Jesus is my Savior and yours too. He gave his life that we can be forgiven of our sins.

How I live my faith

I love serving in the Church. Two of our sons, their wives, and 10 of our grandchildren all worship together. I love seeing those children grow in faith. I am so blessed to serve the women in our congregation. My husband and I have served several missions in different parts of the world and enjoyed inviting others to "come unto Christ." Whether you are in Africa, Albania, or Alaska, the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ never vary. They are the same ideals He taught so many years ago when, during His ministry, as within The Church of Jesus Christ, the doctrines contained in the Book of Mormon, and the Bible, are unchanged... because they are HIS!
