Hi I'm Jordan

I'm 19 years old. I'm a snowboarder and a life-long learner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student studying neuroscience, I love life and try to enjoy the journey. I want to be an optometrist and have a family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer, and that through him and his infinite atonement I can be forgiven of my past mistakes and change myself for the better. I can feel God's love for me every day as I do what I know is right and stand for what I value. I believe that through God, families are eternal, and that love and charity are the underlying principles of all aspects of life. Ultimately I am a Mormon because I have seen blessings in my life that come from living Mormon principles, and I have prayed with a deep desire to know the truth, and received a witness that the Mormon church is gospel of Jesus Christ, and that through its teachings I can overcome my weaknesses and develop into the person I truly want to be.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday, and go to the temple every Wednesday morning. I teach other members each Sunday about the Book of Mormon, and the principles and doctrines found within its pages. I visit teach two girls in my ward each month. I serve in my ward whenever I'm needed. I plan on serving a full time mission for 18 months. I continually strive to be better and more Christ-like person. I try to keep the commandments and follow the counsel found in the scriptures.
