Hi I'm Landrey

I grew up in Utah. I'm a Missionary serving in Little Rock, Arkansas. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I've got an older sister, a younger brother who is bigger and taller then me and two younger sisters that i love to spend time with! I enjoy swimming as well as my music! I play the piano, the drums and I hope to be able to play the guitar and cello someday. I played for the University of Utah's Drumline this last semester which was a blast! I love marching band! I am currently serving a mission in Little Rock, Arkansas and I've loved every minute of it! There is nothing quite like sharing truths i hold dear to my heart with anyone and everyone everyday! I've learned so much in coming out and serving my father in heaven in this great work and i plan to jump right into college when i get home.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church but never realized my own testimony until i came out on a mission. I know that my heavenly fathers knows me and loves me more then i can ever imagine. He is in the little details of mine and everyone's lives and he knows what i'm going through. He knows my thoughts, my feelings, my fears, and my desires. I know he wants whats best for me and i know that this church is where i need to be to fully realize the potential he wants me to reach. I know that by doing the small and simple things(reading the scriptures, praying everyday, and attending church) i can come closer to Christ and know how to better serve him and make the right choices in my life. I know that the only way i can successfully and joyfully get through this life is by staying close to god and to the spirit. He guides me and he protects me.

How I live my faith

I didn't do all that much before I left on my mission to Little Rock, Arkansas. Growing up however i was called to serve as a leader or a counselor in young men's groups in church. I was involved in boy scouts and received my eagle award just before i turned eighteen. I now serve a lot as a missionary helping the congregation in which i serve any way i possibly can. Those service opportunities range from yard work to visiting sick members at their homes, to teaching people about the church and its teachings.
