Hi I'm Mark

I have been a member of the church all of my life, I live and run my business in the UK and I'm a Mormom

About Me

I am married and have been a member of the church all of my life. My wife and I have two children and we have been married for 31years. I enjoy most sports particularly golf and football. I have worked in the church in my home ward and served as the Bishop for 8 years. I have for the last 12 years worked as a Director of a company giving Independent Financial Advice. My wife and myself both like to travel and visit our holiday home in Orlando Florida and enjoy relaxing in the sunshine and fishing. I have other interests which include politics and current affairs, a wide variety of music and finally food and enjoy eating out with my wife.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into a family active in the church there came a time in my life where I had to decide for myself if was the path I wanted to follow. The church's belief in the importance of the family and that the family relationship can continue after this life is the most important thing to me and the reason why I have remained an active member of the church. The standards and beliefs of the church sit comfortably with me and by trying to follow these has made me a better person.

How I live my faith

I have grown up a member of the church, my faith is very important to me and is reflected in the things that I do. As most members in any church I have worked in many positions within the church on a voluntary basis. During his time I have worked with the youth, children and in particular helping individuals and families with challenges we all face in life. The experience i have gained has helped me to develop skills and abilities that i have been able to use in all aspects of my life. My faith has been instrumental in my working life in the way that I try to treat people and the experience it has given me. The choices and decisions I make in life are influenced by my beliefs.
