Hi I'm Andrew

I'm a Canadian Asian transplanted to the USA. I'm a Physician. I'm married with 5 children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Edmonton, Canada for most of my youth before my family moved to the United States. I'll always consider myself a Canadian at heart. I'm a Physician working in the field of Physical Medicine & Rehabillitation. Most importantly, I'm a family man, married to a wonderful woman for over 10 years now and we have 5 children that we are blessed to have the privilege of raising at home. Nothing is more important to me than my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My testimony was planted at a young age largely due to my parents' righteous example and teachings as well as numerous teachers, advisors, and friends who supported me along the way through the ups and downs of growing a personal testimony of the truth of the Gospel. My family is everything to me, and the blessings and promises of a Temple Sealing and the eternal implications are the most valuable treasures I could ever possess. I know it is only through Jesus Christ and his Atonement as well as the Restoration of His church and the Priesthood power on this earth that makes this all possible.

How I live my faith

As a Physician, there is a tendency to see the world from a scientific and evidence based viewpoint. However, as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, there is also an element of faith that is required to better see how things as they really are. I have found that the more I learn, the less it seems I know. I find myself marveling as I further realize the totality and all encompassing plan that God has for his children. Yet at that same time I am humbled by the intricate individuality of that same plan in my own life. This understanding allows me a sense of inner peace despite trials and afflictions both in and outside of my life.
