Hi I'm Sherri Moss

I'm a Mormon. I love the gospel and the strength it has given me throught out my life.

About Me

I am the mother of 5 children. I love being a parent with all the challenges and joys that it brings. We have lived all over the United States. Getting to know people and adjust to new situations has been helped as I have strived to live a life of service. This has given me many great experiences, friends and n increased richness in my own life. In my later years I became a parent coach and then ultimately a career coach helping others as they make employment transitions. It is a rewarding opportunity to be able to be part of what is many times is a life changing event for individuals and their families. I live in an area of historical significance to this church. We have many visitors that come through and learn about the events that occured here. Living here I have come to appreciate these events and have developed a deeper understanding of the relationship we can have with our Heavenly Father. It is a privilege for me to be able to live where Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have appeared to men on earth to teach us truths and give us guidance today.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that God lives and loves me. I know He sent His son Jesus Christ to lead and teach me. I do not know everything but I have faith that there is truth in the gospel and constantly search to know more and increase my understanding. I know there are prophets on the earth today. I know I can seek guidance for my personal situation and that God will answer my prayers as I strive to listen and obey his promptings. I do not follow blindly but with faith and trust because I knew these these things to be true.

How I live my faith

Difficult times lead people to reflect on what is most important to them. As I work with individuals from all walks of life I often draw strength from the knowledge I have of the gospel and the direction it has provided me in my own choices. I start every day with my own personal worship of prayer and scripture study. It gives me perspective and preparation for the events of the day, both planned and unplanned. Raising five children made each day unpredictable but my personal study helped me to be guided by the Spirit when faced with choices or difficult situations.
