Hi I'm Leanne

I am from Washington. I am a newlywed. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a member of the LDS church for almost five years. I am from the Washington area. I now attend Brigham Young University. I have been married for four years. I love the outdoors, camping, hiking, and anything that involves water. My husband and I love to travel and explore new places and have adventures. My husband is applying to dental school this year so it looks like I will be on my own for a while when he is in school. I love music basically anything but jazz and I have been to 20+ concerts. I love to plan parties, weddings, and anything that can be organized and is tons of fun.

Why I am a Mormon

A few years ago I was really going no where and had done the party life, but was still really unsatisfied with my life at the time. I was tired of being unhappy and I had started hanging out with a friend I had gone to high school with and who happened to be a member of the LDS church. I hung out with her and some of her friends a couple of times and I began to notice that there was something different about these people, they were happy. I decided I liked these people and started spending more and more time with them. I met my husband and we were great friends for a few months before we started dating. Four months after I was introduced to the church I started taking missionary lessons. I decided that I wanted to be baptized, and it was the best decision of my life. I applied to BYU-Idaho and got accepted. I got married that summer to the love of my forever and it has been amazing. I know that Christ is patient with us and that He was just waiting until I was ready. I know that by accepting the gospel I have made so many things in my life possible and I cannot imagine my life without it. I love that families CAN be together forever and that every person can be happy in this church and that it touches each person on an individual level. I love my life!

How I live my faith

I live in a college town so it is amazing to have people all around me who are in similar situations to my husband and I. All of the time we get together and play games, go out, and share our love for the church. We love to have people over for dinner and have parties all of the time, and it is great because we can do all of this and still have the spirit in our home. I help organize activities for our women's program and it is so much fun. We have cooking classes, craft lessons, and just get together as women and have a great time. My husband and I have an amazing relationship and our faith strengthens our relationship even more each day.
