Hi I'm Kristin

I live in Arizona. I am a dental hygienist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from dental hygiene school and my husband is studying to be a nurse. I thoroughly enjoy being a dental hygienist because I like helping and interacting with people, educating others about oral hygiene, and making a difference in people's lives. Me and my husband have been married almost three years. Someday we want to have lots of little ones that look like us...but right now we just have a little dog named Lucy who we call "the goose". She is fun and spunky and brings us so much joy. In my free time I love to read. My ultimate relaxation is settling down with a good book on a rainy day. I have re-read some of my favorite books 4-5 times and I'm still not sick of them. I also love to participate in plays. I love becoming a different person on stage and entertaining others with drama or humor. I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, camping, fishing etc. I am at my happiest when I am in nature and I enjoy seeing God's amazing creations in the world around me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had the holy spirit confirm to me the truthfulness of this gospel many times. I find that if you have a testimony of the bible and believe the events that took place, you will easily be able to gain a testimony of the book of mormon and God's church on the earth today. God speaks through His prophets and just like the prophets in the bible, he has a prophet on the earth today. God is the same yesterday, today and forever and has a prophet on the earth today to give us the word of God. I know that when I hear the teachings of the prophet I feel the spirit so strong, confirming to me the truthfulness of his words. Nothing else on earth but the gospel of Jesus Christ gives me the strength to face the hard challenges of life. I feel the most peace and comfort when I follow the teachings of Christ. I know that God loves me and that we are all His children. I know that families are forever and that there is life after death where I will be with my family for eternity.

How I live my faith

I like going to church every week to help me to re-focus my life around Christ. I help teach the young women in my church group. I enjoy teaching and helping the girls in my class understand the teachings of the gospel and apply teachings to their lives so that they can have joy.
