Hi I'm Marshall Dee Brewer

I'm 62 years old, I love to read and write, I love the outdoors and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married to a wonderful woman and the mother of our 9 children. We have 23 wonderful grandchildren. Having family is the best of life's experiences. Working and providing for family is a challenge and blessing. Many wonderful experiences occur in life as a person grows from childhood to adulthood and parenthood to being grandparents. You find out that someone is watching out for you and gives that extra help when you need it in your successes and your challenges. We are not alone. We cannot take all the credit for ourselves. That is what I have found out in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

A wonderful thing happens when a person starts looking for answers to life's most perplexing questions. Although I grew up in the church and always had a basic belief in what my parents and others believed, the time came when I truly had to find out for myself what is true and most meaningful in my life. This church is founded on revelation and having Prophets that receive revelation for the whole church and then the principle of personal revelation for each of us provides the sure knowledge of all truth. We really can know who is speaking the truth, and when we read the truth in the Bible and other scriptures it all falls into place. The wonderful peace that comes after learning the truth, then exersizing the faith and seeing the wonderful blessing come to fruition in my life is transcending. Faith in and believing in Jesus Christ is the Center of all truth.

How I live my faith

Every day is an adventure. Living and applying the teachings of Jesus Christ is the key to finding happiness each day. Especially in the home and then as I go out into the community to work and interact with others, is is important to remember to apply His teachings. This is the only way to find true happiness.
